Points scored, single game
It's not all that unusual for a player to outscore the opposition all by himself in a high school football game, but Nick Finger took it to extremes on the first weekend of October in 2008. Finger scored eight touchdowns and added five two-point conversions as Millbrook fought off Tri-Valley 66-57.
The senior running back carried 41 times for 485 yards, which ranked second in state history at the time of that monumental effort.
The NYSSWA began compiling the football records via the research of Paul Hutzler. Since his retirement after the 2017 season, the organization has updated its information each summer. The latest updates were made in August 2024.
